DESCRIPTION:COLOR: \nExamine the many complex ways to think about color in relationship to the visual arts. Consider many examples of how color is used\, so as to become more aware of the vast world of color in the arts. \nThese lectures\, given by Michael O’Keefe\, will thoroughly explore various fundamental ideas of visual art. In each lecture\, participants will view many examples of works of art that demonstrate a dynamic use of a particular art idea.Michael will discuss the nature of these concerns and how they are integrated into the compositions of the examples shown.Each topic will be considered as it relates to 2D and 3D art.The goal of these sessions is to help participants develop a more keen and complex understanding of essential art ideas. \n
